Sarah and Alex’s romantic Cairnwood Estate wedding with an outdoor ceremony at Bryn Athyn Cathedral was a dream to photograph. Their day was full of gorgeous florals by Posey Hill Flowers and elegant DIY details. The grounds of both properties made a spectacular backdrop for bride and groom portraits. Since Sarah and Alex opted to have a first look, they had plenty of time to walk around Cairnwood to find amazing nooks for romantic wedding portraits. We took more pictures of them around the gorgeous Bryn Athyn Cathedral before they had their ceremony.

The wedding ceremony was intimate, personal, emotional, and so lovely. They each recited their own vows to each other, included readings from their unique heritages, and involved their parents in a really touching way – I could hear the sniffles from all around me. Their guests joined them from literally all around the world – from China to England and in between, and it was such a joy for me to be a part of.
