My husband and I were recently very fortunate to be able to take a trip to Fiji.  I actually won airfare and 5 nights hotel in a sweepstakes from Fiji Water and Wawa (crazy, right!?). Since the journey to get to Fiji is so long – 6 hour flight to LA and then another 12 to Fiji) we opted to extend our trip a few extra nights. For the first part of the trip we stayed at the hotel that was part of our win The Warwick Fiji and it was absolutely fantastic. For our second part of our trip we moved to a hotel along the western coast of the main island of Fiji, Viti Levu, so we could explore some of the small islands off the coast (there are 333 during low tide!) We had some really awesome experiences including visiting a traditional Fijian village and participating in a Kava ceremony, taking a longboat ride up the Navua River to swim in a waterfall, lots of snorkeling, taking a dip in a natural mud bath and hot spring, and of course enjoying some amazing beaches.
