This weekend I headed down to Washington DC to shoot this lovely engagement session of the super nice Jenn and Brandon. Jenn and Brandon are getting married this summer in New Jersey, but wanted to do their engagement session in Georgetown and amongst the cherry blossoms since the live in Arlington. I was so excited to shoot during the National Cherry Blossom Festival! Am I the only one who thought cherry blossoms were pink?? I guess some are, but we shot with white.

We started out shooting with the cherry blossoms. They were beautiful even though they weren’t pink 🙂

Since I drove all the way down there, I figured I really needed a shot that screamed “Washington DC” lol

We then jumped into a cab to head over to Georgetown where Jenn and Brandon like to spend their free time. It was getting a bit cloudy as the sun set, but we were treated to some nice warm light just before dusk.

We finished up our session at a cute little shop they frequent called Baked and Wired where Jenn and Brandon shared a cupcake (and Brandon got one for me too, thanks Brandon!) and some coffee.
