I’m so excited to share this very special wedding.  Hannah and Sohil got married on a particularly lovely August day a James John Audubon Center.  What makes their wedding extra special is that they had two unique ceremonies.  First, a traditional Indian ceremony followed by a civil ceremony.  I always love shooting Indian weddings because they are so colorful and energetic.  But first, I began the day with Hannah as she got ready and into her white wedding dress for portraits.

I love their beautiful letterpress invitations.  They really reflect the natural elements that are incorporated throughout the day.  Hannah’s dress was a gorgeous lace by Liancarlo. I particularly love the sheer lace in the back – be sure to look out for that later!

Hannah and Sohil opted to do most of their formal portraits before both of their ceremonies.  Hannah choose this beautiful spot for their first look, then from there we wandered around the grounds for more portraits.

Didn’t I tell you we had a lovely day?  Perfect August weather.

Flowers by Lillies and Lavendar – a sustainable farm in Doylestown. Remember the sheer lace I mentioned? From the waist up on the back of the dress… just gorgeous!

Hannah and Sohil were amazing to work with.  Do you mind climbing through tall grass and flowers in your wedding dress in heels?  Total troopers!

After we finished with portraits they changed over to their Indian clothes for their first ceremony.  Some of the beautiful jewelry Hannah wore.

For those who aren’t familiar with Indian ceremonies they can be rather long.  This one was relatively short at around an hour.  There are tons and tons of pictures of the Indian ceremony included in the slideshow below so be sure to check it out.

We stole a few minutes for portraits before the changed back for ceremony number two.

The second ceremony was held in front of this beautiful old tree and accented by hanging mason jars with yellow flowers.

Hannah’s two sisters and her niece escorted her to her groom. Everyone had a change of wardrobe for the second ceremony.

Hannah also changed her hairstyle into this lovely updo.

The reception was held in the pavilion.  I was so thankful we had beautiful weather since the entire day was outdoors. Love the string lights!
