Alex & Kimberly: Surprise Fairmount Park Proposal

One of the most nerve wracking and exciting things for me to photography is a surprise proposal! I want to be in just the right spot so I can get great pictures, but without being noticed by or tipping off the soon-to-be bride-to-be. Alex planned a romantic proposal complete with rose petals and candles overlooking the beautiful Schuylkill River and Boat House row. He even had a stuffed dog present with a phone set up to video chat with their dog who couldn’t be there.  Afterward, we took a few minutes to get some engagement photos around The Philadelphia Museum of Art. You can’t tell from the pictures but it was absolutely freezing and windy on this particular afternoon –  Kimberly was such a good sport without even a coat on!
