I am so excited to share Carter’s first year session with you!  This is an extra special session as I have had the honor of taking Carter’s newborn portraits as well as at 3, 6, and 9 months in addition to shooting his parents wedding back in 2010. For his 1st birthday session we chose Fort Washington Park which had some beautiful fall leaves. Love this one!

Getting up the courage to walk! Just a few days later he took his first steps!

Of course we had to have some balloons to celebrate!

It got suddenly very chilly so we headed back to Christina and Alex’s home for his cake smash.  To be honest, he wasn’t that into the cake (gasp!) but he was pretty darn cute!
