Welcome to my very first wedding of the year! I’m so excited for all the wonderful weddings I’m going to be a part of in 2015, and Abby and Danny’s wedding was the perfect way to start things off! You may notice some small changes in the way I blog this year. Instead of including a slideshow at the end of each blog, I will be including those additional images in the blog post itself making for one extra long post, with images of various sizes. Let me know if you like the new layout in the comments!

Abby and Danny’s wedding took place at Philadelphia Academy of the Fine Arts, with portraits taking place in beautiful Center City Philadelphia. It was a particularly chilly day in Philadelphia but Abby was such a trooper for portraits outside in her gorgeous (but probably not very warm!) BHLDN dress. Isn’t it just gorgeous? Our day began at Le Méridien Philadelphia where Abby got into her dress.

I am just crazy about these gorgeous flowers from Long Stems. These bright colors really warm up a chilly winter wedding.

Abby’s mom made her veil for her with gorgeous lace form her Bubby’s wedding dress. Love!

Danny wasn’t looking too shabby either.

Danny and Abby decided to do their portraits before their ceremony and opted to have a very simple, private first look in their hotel room.

And then we were off for portraits in Center City.  Love these happy faces making my job so easy! We stopped just in front of the hotel for a few quick shots before heading over toward City Hall.

Of course if you’re having your portraits in Center City Philadelphia you have to get in some classic shots of City Hall on Broad Street.

We had this amazing light as the sun was setting and it made everything have those warm/pinkish tone that I just love.

Abby added her veil for family photos. Here Abby’s mom is helping her secure put it on – I love the look on her face!

Some of the guys inside PAFA.  Danny and Abby had their wedding party made up of just siblings, which was so great.

The girls each wore dresses in jewel tones. Theyt looked fantastic with with the brightly colored flowers.

The Ketubah signing took place in a downstairs gallery before everyone moved upstairs for the full ceremony.

Married!

Then it was time to party! Abby and Danny skipped formal entrances and just ran straight in to start the Hora!
