April in review. In January I had fully intended to post one instagram each day…. but, sadly, I have failed. Some days are just too boring In any case, I still will be posting a month in review each month featuring all the instagrams I took. This month’s highlights include my good friend Besty welcoming Liam into the world, new business cards, a lovely engagement session on the beach in NJ, lots of pretty flowers, a painful IRS payment, first baseball game of the season, and easter, and of course several shots of my adorable beagle, Jack.

Shannon & Scott: Las Vegas Wedding

Last week I flew out to my former home, Las Vegas, to shoot Shannon and Scott’s gorgeous destination wedding. It was such a treat to have beautiful warm weather the first week of May! We began the day at the fabulous Cosmopolitan where Shannon got ready. This is the view from their room, can’t beat it!

Shannon and Scott opted to do a first look so that we could get some of the portraits out of the way before the ceremony, so we had TONS of portraits – love it. We headed to their venue, Angel Park Golf Club, for portraits – a completely perfect location. Here’s a shot of Shannon with her mom, love it! Mom looks so happy.

The gorgeous couple! The venue was stunning, so many perfect spots… loved the rose bushes!

The ceremony site. One of my all time favorites, thanks to the gorgeous sunset light.

Scott’s niece was the flower girl. She very meticulously dropped each bunch of petals as she walked down the aisle, it was so cute.

After the ceremony, we jumped in a golf cart and toured the golf course for some more pictures.

Liam: One Day Old

Last week my close friend Betsy gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Liam Patrick. He was about 5 weeks early but perfect and healthy. I visited them in the hospital and of course brought my camera. Liam is officially the youngest person to appear on my blog!

Adi & James: Please Touch Museum Wedding

Adi and James got married last weekend on a chilly but beautiful March day at the gorgeous Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia.

Adi’s stunningly simple dress by Marisa. Hair and makeup by Oggi Salon and Spa.

Adi got ready at the Sofitel Hotel in Philadelphia, loved the beautiful window light.

Adi and James opted to do a first look in order to have plenty of time for photos. They saw each other for the first time at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which is the perfect backdrop for pictures. Love this shot from moments after they saw each other for the first time.

I have been absolutely loving this gorgeous weather we’ve been having. Last week Mark and I spent the afternoon at the Morris Arboretum to see all the beautiful trees and flowers blooming, nothing puts me in a good mood like being surrounded by so many lovely flowers. I’m so excited to be a shooting Katie and Sterling’s wedding there this summer, so many perfect locations for pictures!

March was a busy month! Mark and I began the month by moving into a new place, then the following week we took a vacation to Disney World – so fun We can home to the most gorgeous spring-like weather. I love looking back at the month and seeing all the beautiful flowers and trees blooming. I ended the month with a gorgeous wedding shoot at the Please Touch Museum that I will be blogging later this week, so check back for that. For now, here is a sneak peek into my life in March:
