#20 - Take a yoga or pilates class

Yesterday I took my very first pilates class at StudiOhm here in Vegas, accomplishing #20 on my list of 101 things to do in the next 1001 days.

Since it was my first class I opted for the ‘Pilates for Every Body’ class for beginners like me. Cecile was the teacher, and she did a really great job making sure I was doing everything correctly, and helping me to modify positions that were too difficult for me.

I can tell it worked cause every muscle in my body hurts today!! :) I would definitely recommend StudiOhm for anyone looking to start a new exercise regimen — and I’m sure they’re great for more experienced people as well. I will definitely be heading back next Wednesday.

Exciting News!!!

I’m so excited to share with you all that I was selected as a vendor to be included in the Platinum List of Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine for 2008.

For those of you who don’t know what Grace Ormonde is… it is hands down the best wedding magazine on the market today. I highly recommend that anyone planning a wedding pick up a copy at your local bookstore for endless inspiration and awesome images. I promise you will not be disappointed!!

A few months back I was honored to get a phone call from a rep from Grace Ormonde explaining to me that for the first time ever Nevada would be included in their exclusive Platinum List for vendors, and asked me if I would be interested in advertising my services. Of course I was excited to be asked, and said yes!

You can pick up your copy for spring/summer now, and I’m on page 263!! You can also check out my online listing here.

Melissa & Kevin: Wedding

For Melissa and Kevin’s Januray 5th wedding I headed out to Scottsdale, AZ. Melissa and her family did nearly everything for the wedding themselves, including making the wedding gown, the bridesmaids dresses, seven flower girl dresses, all the flowers and decor, even the food! They did an amazing job and it turned out beautifully. Unfortunately we got some rainy weather, but it stayed dry all through their outdoor ceremony.. but not for much longer :)

Melissa was a stunning bride and she and Kevin together were adorable. She also had a whole second outfit for an afterparty they had following the reception, hence the black shoes and dress. I also have redesigned my border/logo for 2008 so the images can be viewed larger. You can also always click on the image to view it larger as well. Check it out!

Happy New Year!!

I’ve just finished updating my website to include all of my favorite images from 2007, as well as some ‘rave reviews’ from my fabulous clients, be sure to check it out!

Here is a quick sampling of some of my favorites from last year, but there were too many to choose from… hundreds more on the website :)

Tomorrow I’m off to Scottsdale, Arizona for my first wedding of the year.. so check back soon for images from that, some engagement photos, a funny holiday story, and some exciting news!!

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season, and best of luck in the new year!
