On Sunday of this past Memorial Day weekend I head out to Colorado to shoot this beautiful wedding for Brooke and Erik (you may remember their engagement session from back in February).

It is so nice to have a change of scenery, especially when there is so much lush green involved (we have a severe lack of green in Vegas ). As a reminder, I am available for weddings ANYWHERE… I’ve already photographed weddings in 14 states from Massachusetts to Hawaii, but would love to expand my horizons!!

Saturday I shot a beautiful wedding at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Church, followed by a gorgeous, intimate reception at Mix at Mandalay Bay. Mix is on the top floor of the hotel and has an amazing view of the city. The reception was in a special private room surrounded by hundreds of hand blown glass spheres, it was truly stunning. Ashley & Tom we’re adorable together.. makes my job so easy

I’m so behind in my blog posting!! This wedding was from 5/19, and was here in Las Vegas at the Venetian. One of the hinderances of being a wedding photographer in Las Vegas is that many venues have in-house photographers, and do not allow outside photographers inside the ceremony. This was one such case. It’s a huge bummer to have to miss out on one of the best best parts of the wedding day, but we make it work!

Today’s wedding in Denver was beautiful and intimate. The couple was so obviously in love, and their emotion made for awesome photographs. The wedding took place in a local park and a horse drawn carriage escorted guest to the reception!

Tomorrow I fly back to Vegas just in time for Saturday’s wedding at the Venetian! It’s been a crazy week

In the meantime.. I wanted to share a few shots of my mom’s brand new dog, Janey. I just met Janey for the first time this week while visiting my family for a few days in Pennsylvania. She’s a rat terrier, and the sweetest thing ever. Her ears are permanently in the one up, one down position. It’s hysterical!! How cute is she??

These past few days have been a bit of a whirlwind.. I’ve been in 8 states since Thursday!! Saturday I shot Parul & Manik’s wedding in Maryland, Virgina, and Washington, DC! There were so many colorful details, it was a great event to shoot. We started the day at 9am for the getting ready shots and 2 hour long ceremony. When I left at midnight the party was still in full swing, I’m sure they partied all night

Wednesday I’m heading to Colorado for a Thursday wedding there, then back to Vegas Friday.

On Saturday I shot an awesome wedding at Bali Hai Golf Club right here in Vegas. It was a gorgeous day and both the bride and groom were *super* emotional, it was really sweet! Once again, having a gorgeous bride made my job so easy

On Thursday I’m flying back east to do a wedding in the Washington DC area, followed by a mid week wedding in Colorado, the back here to Vegas for another wedding on Saturday. Thats 3 weddings in 8 days in 3 different states! AGH Be sure to check back for images!

Sunday evening I head out to Red Rock to shoot some engagement portraits. It’s such a beautiul location and we had beautiful day Thanks to Stormi & David for being good sports and trekking up some pretty big hills to get these!!
