Happy Holidays!

Christmas is one of my favorite times of year, so I thought I’d share a few quick photos from my home. I love decorating my Christmas tree… I collect Christmas ornaments which are all very special and meaningful to me, and I add a few to my collection each year. Many of my ornaments now I’ve gotten from my mom, an some even from my grandma - so I’ve included a few pictures of my favorites as well (click on the collage to see it bigger).

I’m back home with my family on the east coast for the Holidays, so it may take me a few extra days to get back you via phone and email. Hope you all are enjoying the season as well!

Seventeen states (plus DC!)

I have been lucky enough to travel to 17 states plus Washington DC to shoot weddings over the past two years. Living in Nevada, having gone to college in California, and growing up in Pennsylvania and New York it seems I know people everywhere. I love having the opportunity to visit new places, and I hope the trend continues!!

This is a map of the states I’ve shot weddings in so far (the PINK ones), and I hope to add more… and maybe even a few new countries as my business grows :)

DeAnna & Tommy: Wedding

This past weekend I shot the beautiful wedding of DeAnna and Tommy at the Wildhorse Golf Club. It was a chilly and *breezy* day for an outdoor wedding, but everyone was brave through the ceremony and some quick portraits — notice the big ‘group hug’ portrait, easier to stay warm :)

The wedding was themed in black and white and I incoporated that into the photos as well! Hope you all enjoy!

Blog Redesign!!

I’ve spent the last hour or so redesigning the look of my blog while I watched some Thursday night television. :) I think it looks sleeker, and better reflects my style. What do you all think?

I still am behind on blogging actual images, those are coming soon… and I’m shooting an awesome wedding this weekend so check back Monday for those!

Thanks for stopping by!

Myspace!

Ashley Bartoletti Photography now has myspace!! I’d love for you to stop by and check it out, and be my friend! HERE

I hate to blog without photos, so here’s a quick shot of me shooting on the subway in Paris ;)

Rachel & Tony: Wedding

Saturday I spent the day shooting the fabulous wedding of Rachel & Tony. We started off with getting ready shots and portraits at Green Valley Ranch and then headed over to synagogue Congregation Ner Tamid for the ceremony and reception. The colors of the wedding were inspired by Tony’s love for Michigan State football, and Rachel was a trooper to go along with that theme - though it turned out beautifully!

Khara & Steve: Engagement

Last Sunday I headed out with Khara and Steve to Lake Las Vegas — what has become a favorite of my clients for engagement sessions. It was a really overcast day, but we got a few beams of sunlight through the clouds just as it was setting. Khara and Steve are getting married at Sienna Golf Club next May; after shooting there last week I’m excited to be going back!

Anna & Rudy: Wedding

Last weekend I shot Anna & Rudy’s wedding at Sienna Golf Club. There ceremony took place just as the sun was beginning to set and made for really beautiful light for the ceremony and portraits immediately following. I also have to admit that Anna had one of my all-time favorite wedding dresses — not to mention her awesome jewelery and shoes! I just love shooting the details!

I still have about three more weddings to catch up on my blog, and an engagement session. Hoping to get these blogged in the next few days.

Angela & Umar: Enagement

And here are their engagement photos…

Angela & Umar: Wedding

On October 20th, I shot the lovely wedding of Angela and Umar at the famous Flamingo here in Vegas. After the ceremony, we took some time to do some shots around the Vegas area — I love it when we have extra time to play around with portraits!

We also had the opportunity to do really fun engagement photos in downtown Las Vegas a couple of nights before the wedding, I’ll be posting those shortly.
