I’m so excited to announce the winners of my 3rd Annual Valentine’s Day Contest! First of all I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to share their love stories with me and enter the contest!

There were so many great stories it was hard to choose a winner… but without further ado I chose Danny & Kelly!

Sonething about their story touched me, here’s a small excerpt from what Kelly sent me:

Danny and I grew up in the same neighborhood a few blocks away (Southwest Philadelphia) but he is 5 years older than me. So in grade school and high school I had the biggest crush on him, but he only knew of me as ‘Jeff’s little sister’. Fast forward years later and we run into each other at the New Years Day parade. We started hanging out every weekend and on February 5, 2005 he asked me to be his girlfriend and the rest is history From that moment we have been inseparable, moving in together in October of that year. I call Danny my angel everyday. 8 months before we started dating, my brother Jeff passed away. It was without doubt the hardest time of my life as we were best friends and it was very sudden. Again just 2 weeks ago, I lost someone very close to me, my Stepmom Ruth. I don’t know how I would have gotten through all of this without Danny by my side.

I’m so excited to finally share this with you! Today I was featured on Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book Blog, along with two of my other favorite vendors — Coordinator extraordinaire Tracey of Your Las Vegas Wedding Concierge, and my good friend and fellow photographer Chelsea Nicole. Tracey wrote an awesome article about Las Vegas Wedding Style, and also interviewed Chelsea and I about our takes on Vegas wedding style. I’ve been honored to be a preferred vendor on Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Book for over a year now, but this is the first time I’ve been featured on the blog.

Though I am in the process of relocating my base to the east coast, I am still taking weddings in the Vegas area, as well as world wide — I encourage any interested clients to contact me for specific information.

With my crazy schedule, I am a bit behind in my blogging… stay tuned for another e-session, wedding, baby portrait shoot, and a recap of my current travels (which include a cross country drive, and trips to Florida, Cancun, and Chicago for shoots).

Since I didn’t have a chance to announce the winners of my Valentine’s Day Contest actually ON Valentine’s Day… what better day than Oscar night?! Honestly, I sincerely apologize for not being able to post the winners last week I just have didn’t have a chance to read through all the entries with planning my move and WPPI convention (more on that soon). Frequently Asked Questions

How many images will be taken at the wedding?
There will be at approximately 100 images per hour taken, so for an average 8 hour wedding you should expect at least 800 images.

What images are included on the final disk? Can I print them?
All of the images that are included as proofs will be included on the final image disk. These images will have color and contrast correction, but will not be individually retouched. You are welcome to print them or share them with family and friends online.

When will I receive my high resolution images on disk?
The image disk is delivered at the same time the final album is delivered. If no album is ordered, the disk will be delivered in about 8 weeks after the wedding.

When will my proofs be ready to be viewed? How long will they be online?
Proofs will be available to view on pictage.com within 4 weeks of the wedding. Proofs will remain online for 3 months from the wedding date.

Can my friends and family view the proofs online?
Yes, your anyone you share your password with will be able to login and view your images. The password will protect your images from anyone you do not wish to share them with.

How does the album design process work? How long does it take?
I custom design each wedding album so that it best tells the story of the wedding day. The pre-designed album will be ready in about 4 weeks after the wedding. The design will be emailed to you for you and your fiancé to look over and discuss changes.

Can I make changes to the pre-designed album design?
Yes, you can swap out images or delete page spreads as you determine best. Two rounds of changes are complimentary, after that a fee will apply.

Do I have to pay sales tax?
Yes, 7.750% applies to any product included in your package (not including shooting fees). For any items shipped out of state, sales tax does not apply.

Are you available for weddings outside of the Southern Nevada area?
Yes, I am available to shoot weddings and events anywhere worldwide. Travel fees will apply for anywhere outside of the Southern Nevada area and begin at $500.

I won’t be in Las Vegas before my wedding, can I exchange my engagement session for another product?
Unfortunately no, the engagement session is included as a gift to my clients in order for me to get to know you better. If we are unable to set up a shoot time before the wedding, you will not be able to exchange it for another product.

When you hire a *good* photographer, their job doesn’t end after the click of the shutter. We spend hours after the wedding or photo shoot editing and retouching images so you only get the best possible results.

A photographer can be a big investment, but you’re paying not only for their time and talent behind the camera, but also their expertise after the pictures are taken… and its worth every penny!

Images come out of the camera looking a bit flat and lifeless, and a bit of photoshop help can really make them *pop*! Here are a few examples:

The white space is used for your guests to sign right onto. It is a really great way to showcase your engagement pictures and create a lasting memory from your wedding!
