Last weekend I headed to the Jersey shore to shoot Christina and Alex’s engagement session, at the same beach where the got engaged earlier this year. After having to reschedule several times for a variety of reasons we could not have asked for a more beautiful night! The weather was just gorgeous!

Alex proposed by writing “Will you marry me?” in the sand (how cute is that??!), so I asked him to write a new message..,

After thunderstorms rescheduled our original shoot we finally got a beautiful sunny day to shoot Kathy and Frank’s engagement session. I suggested we shoot at Rowan University since that is where Kathy and Frank first met and I think it was the perfect location. Here are my faves:

These next ones are funny to me because Frank had such a hard time sitting comfortably on the ground. I said sit like you would if you were at a picnic and he just found the whole thing uncomfortable Sorry! I still think they turned out great!

The day after Nicole and Kenneth’s gorgeous Bellagio wedding, they opted to shoot a day after session around the Las Vegas Strip.

Back in February I held my 2nd annual Valentine’s Day Contest and Stacey and Gareth were one of the couples I chose as winners. We finally got around to shooting the engagement session a couple of weeks ago and they selected Longwood Gardens as the location for the shoot. I couldn’t have been happier — such a beautiful location.

Ashley and Jim are getting married in Santa Barbara in May! We headed over to the UNLV campus to do their engagement session.

I’m a slight bit behind in blogging, as this lovely couple is already married! Here’s a quick few from their engagement, more to come from their wedding soon!

One of my favorite things about my job is getting to know my clients before the wedding. For that reason (and a variety of others), I include free engagement sessions in my wedding packages. Since a lot of my clients come from out of town to get married in Las Vegas, I don’t *always* have the opportunity to do them… but I always try.

Generally I try to shoot in locations that are memorable for the couple, or just super fun. I look forward to shooting lots of fun new engagement sessions this year!

Way back in February of this year I held a contest on my blog for a free engagement session for the couple whose story I liked best. I choose Jeanna and Michael, and 8 months later we finally did the shoot! We headed to downtown Las Vegas for some “old Vegas flare”.

I shot Katrina and Marks lovely engagement session at Lake Las Vegas just a couple days before their wedding… squeezed them into my busy schedule before my trip out to Chicago. It was a beautiful day at a beautiful location with a beautiful couple, what could be better?
