Cammy & Luke: Ocean City, NJ Wedding

The last weekend in July I headed down to Ocean City, NJ to second shoot the lovely wedding of Cammy and Luke with my friend Erik Matey. The wedding took place at The Flanders Hotel which is right on the boardwalk, perfect for beach portraits!

I was kind of in love with her shoes :)

Jen & Rich | Phoenixville Wedding Photography

I recently had the opportunity to second shoot a wedding with the awesome April Ziegler at the Phoenixville Foundry. I love being a second shooter because it takes the pressure off of having to get all the must have shots and allows me to just have fun :)

Jeannine & Rob | Philadelphia Wedding Photography

Jeannine got ready in her childhood room at her parent’s house and had so many beautiful details.

Love this :)

Gorgeous bride!

I was shooting the groomsmen during the ceremony when I got this surprise from one of the ring bearers. HOW CUTE is he?!

Married!

This sign made me laugh! The weather here has been unbearable and this was the most humid day after it rained all morning. It was super gross.

Love this. It feels so classic to me.

Look I’m funny again :)

The guys

Really, isn’t she stunning???

We had SUCH a gorgeous location for portraits. The cloudy day helped us out with some gorgeous soft light.

The best man had a very funny speech. The thing I remember most was his reference to Rob’s love for N’Sync in his younger years :) Apparently he even knew all the dance moves! You can’t make this stuff up. :)

Love the expression on Jeannine’s dad’s face during their father daughter dance.

Danette & Derrick | Philadelphia Wedding Photography

A few weeks back I shot this gorgeous wedding of Danette & Derrick at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott.

Danette had so many gorgeous details!

This may be one of my favorite dress shots EVER. I don’t know why but it just looks so classic to me. Does this dress look familiar to you??

How gorgeous is Danette?? LOVE this shot!

Quick prayer before the ceremony.

Gorgeous!

Danette specifically requested a shot of Derrick watching her come down the aisle. He definitely had an emotional reaction!

Trying to hold it together :)

Married!

Since they got married basically AT the airport we didn’t have the best location for outdoor portraits ,but I found a great little nook just outside which worked PERFECTLY!

Favorite!

LOVE this. Seriously how stunning is she???

Look I’m funny! :)

At their reception they had a photo booth and I grabbed this shot of them in it :)

Stephanie & Tom | Rehoboth Beach Wedding Photographer

I’m so behind on blogging but I’m going to try and catch up this week! I’ve been so super busy and have so many beautiful shoots to share.

Three weekends ago I headed down to Rehoboth Beach, DE to shoot this gorgeous wedding of Stephanie and Tom. We began our day at the Atlantic Sands hotel with Tom and the guys getting ready.

I love flip flops… that means wedding ON the beach! :) Happy Photographer!

After a little while I headed down the hall to meet up with Stephanie and the girls.

Stephanie and Tom wrote their own vows to each other (love). I love this shot highlighting the line “I promise to love you”.

I loved these gorgeous peonies in her bouquet!

Some of the getting ready details…

Love this shot of Stephanie and her mom hugging before they left for the ceremony…

Gorgeous bride!

Some ring shots, I found this shell on the walkway across the dunes to the ceremony site.

The wedding was at the Indian River Life-Saving Station at Delaware Seashore State Park. The entry way to the beach couldn’t have been prettier, what a great location for a wedding!

Married!

Photos were a bit challenging at this wedding because it was CRAZY windy. I’m talking 50 mile per hour gusts! Poor Stephanie could basically only face in one direction so her hair and veil blew behind her instead of in her face. I still think they look pretty darn good :)

By request, the jumping photo!

The reception was held on a sand dune under a beautiful tent. It was gorgeous weather and a lovely setting. Though I have to mention after 6 hours of walking on sand my legs were KILLING me :)

Did I mention that I LOVE peonies? :)

First dance, can’t you feel the love?

Father/daughter dance.

Mother/son dance.

Stephanie also opted for a mother/daughter dance as well. They were so sweet. I have to admit this one got me a bit teary eyed!

Cheers!

Nina & Matt | New Jersey Wedding Photographer

Yesterday I shot the most beautiful wedding of Nina and Matt at the Hyatt in Morristown, NJ. I was so excited that I couldn’t wait to post the images.

Thea beautiful bride.

I just LOVE all the gorgeous details of an Indian wedding. I was in detail heaven!

Beautiful henna. And how much do you love her purple dress?! Absolutely gorgeous.

The bridemaid’s saris and bangles

Matt custom designed Nina’s engagement rings. She just graduated from Princeton Medical School so Matt designed the ring to be flat against her hand so she can pull on latex gloves over it. Thoughtful!

All the girls getting ready.

I love these shots of Nina’s mom and aunt helping her dress

The Baraat (procession of Matt and his family to the ceremony).

After the ceremony we headed over to a local park for portraits. I snapped these two while Matt and Nina were talking as I was getting situated. Nina’s checking out his new ring, love the real smiles this brings!

Favorites!

How gorgeous is she?! Seriously!

First dance as a married couple!

Father daughter dance, I love her dad’s expression!

Matt dancing with his mom.

Nina’s dad gave a wonderful toast before dinner, at the end he recited a toast from Matt’s family “Friends who drink together, stay together”. Here’s to that! :)

The bridesmaid’s gave an awesome toast with a fun true-false game…

… as you can see this cracked up Matt and Nina :)

After all the formalities were through, these people partied! This was one fun crowd, here are some of my favorites:

It was such a pleasure to shoot Nina and Matt’s wedding, best of luck to them for a long and happy marriage!

Laura & Gabe: Wedding

On March 21st I shot my first wedding of 2010! Laura and Gabe had a beautiful wedding on a gorgeous spring day.

Laura had the most beautiful Priscilla of Boston dress, I love this bow detail.

The gorgeous bride!

The gorgeous beaded shoes

I just love this shot! The best man smiling at the bride and groom during the ceremony. He just looks so happy for them.

Married!

Very happily married :)

How adorable is this ring bearer?? He had the most beautiful eyes and sweetest smile. He’s going to be a heart breaker when he grows up!

The gorgeous ballroom at The Venetian

I loved these beautiful, blossoming centerpieces - perfect for a spring wedding.

Gorgeous crystal chandeliers

First dance as husband and wife

I love this shot of Laura and her dad during the father-daughter dance.

At the reception they had a cigar roller, so cool!

Gabe and his best man rocking out with the band, the guests went crazy for them!

Mmm dessert! The reception had the biggest dessert buffet I’ve EVER seen! It was like heaven. Anything you could have wanted was available. Two chocolate fountains, make your on sundaes, coffee station, tons of tarts, pies, cakes, chocolate covered strawberry, even cotton candy! Here are just a few of the offerings:

Kisses!

The best things in life are free! :) Here are a few of my favorite kiss shots

Favorites: Bouquets

I LOVE flowers. Sure, everyone likes flowers.. but I really love them. When I was growing up our house was always filled with fresh flowers and we had beautiful gardens outside. We even had a had a garden just to cut fresh flowers from to bring inside.

After I left for college my mom opened a flower shop in our little town, and when I would come home for visits I would spend much of my time with her in her shop helping to make arrangements. Those were some of my fondest memories of my mom.

It’s no surprise then that one of my favorite details of the wedding day is the bouquet! I love photographing the bouquet! For your viewing pleasure here are some of my favorite bouquets from last year:

Marianne & Rich: Wedding

This year has been a bit hectic and I’m posting things in a fairly odd order. This wedding I shot back in September at Nativity of Our Lord Church in Warminster, PA. The best part of my job is when you can see the love between two people and capture it to be forever cherished. This particular wedding made my job so easy because Marianne and Rich were oozing lover for each other, but it was easy to see it in other places too.

Just before she walked down the aisle, here is Marianne’s little sister and maid of honor getting a quick kiss from their dad.

I love the look on Marianne’s face here just before her dad walks her in.

A quick shot of the gorgeous detail of her dress and veil, such beautiful light.

During the ceremony they just couldn’t stop smiling at each other :)

Married! Very happily I would say :)

After the ceremony we headed over to Tyler Garden’s at Bucks County Community College. It was a bit of a wet day to say the least, but we still made the best of this gorgeous location - Marianne was a trooper.
