Last week I had the pleasure of doing a newborn session for this precious little girl Jessica at just 4 days old. Isn’t she gorgeous?!

Last week I did a session with Tucker in celebration of his 2nd birthday. Tucker was not my biggest fan When I arrived I had cupcakes and balloons for the shoot, and first thing when tucker was holding the balloons one of them popped loudly and scared him… I think he was a bit afraid of me after that.

Nothing a cupcake can’t fix?

Sometimes it takes 2 cupcakes to heal a wound… lol

After a few minutes playing inside, we headed outside to play in the snow

Of course, we had to bring the cupcakes

After a few minutes we had our second mini-disaster.  I had Tucker hold the balloons for some fun shots outside… unfortunately the weight on the balloons untied and tucker let go and off the balloons went.

Tucker was not happy about this.  Sweet little Tucker  followed them and pointed and hoped they’d come back.  I felt so terrible!

Sooo… we went back to play inside. Finally some smiles! Tucker gave an awesome performance on the piano.

Thanks Tucker and mom Jenn for allowing me into your home for a few hours.  Hopefully next time it won’t traumatize Tucker quite so much

Last week I photographed this sweet little boy at just over two weeks old. Meet Jakob!

As I mentioned at the end of 2009 I’m launching a brand new kids site in the spring time, so I’ve been shooting a lot of kids recently to showcase.  This adorable little girl was one of my most recent shoots.  To see more from her shoot you can check out the photos section on my facebook fan page, and while you’re there become my fan!

Last week I flew out to Chicago to visit my good friends Leah & Dan and while I was there I photographed their niece and newborn nephew, Teddy.

Teddy and Bridget live in a high rise building with huge windows overlooking Lake Michigan, making it an ideal location for portraits!

How adorable is Teddy?? One of my all-time favorites.

Last week Cathleen and Bryan welcomed their first child, Joseph! I shot their wedding two years ago and was so excited to be able to shoot their baby.

For the past year I’ve been documenting Tyler’s journey from his mommy’s belly through his first Birthday. I can’t believe how much he’s grown… and the he ended up with red hair! What a cutie!
